Andrew has over twelve years of experience as an engineer beginning with work on municipal improvement projects, subdivision development projects and structural analysis. He also has specific computer experience modeling erosion scenarios in open channel environments with his graduate background. His work experience includes creating drainage studies for major subdivisions and flood control facilities, and experience with FEMA CLOMR and LOMR work and scour analyses. Andrew is proficient with various hydrologic and hydraulic software including, but not limited to: WSPG, WSPRO, HEC-1, HEC-RAS, HY8, HDS5, HEC-HMS. Andrew is also experienced with the following modeling software: InRoads Storm and Sanitary, InRoads, Microstation, Autocadd, LandDesktop and Civil 3D.
His most recent experience is the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians proposed marina project with over 100 slips of varying sizes. Responsibilities with this included quantity take offs, estimates, plan and specification development involving the site plan, grading plan, onshore and offshore utilities including water, storm and sanitary.
